It saddens me when we start pointing the finger at God. Blame God for the hardships in life, or lack of help. God is the giver of life! Life to him is different than it is to us. We see death as the end of life, a finality of life’s end …God see’s death as a rebirth, a coming to life from a dark hole. Our world is a dark hole where satan dwells causing hurt, hardships, and disasters. It is our job to rise above his works of destruction. God has given us choice! We are responsible for our own choices. As long as there is evil, weak people will succumb to it, creating acts of evil. They have made their choice. They will answer for their choice here on earth and in the afterlife. They will be held responsible.
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things.
God is with us, but this will not be fixed unless we (as a people) stand our ground. God will reside in each one of us if we allow Him. He will be our strength. He will give us knowledge and wisdom. He will be our comfort …But only if we choose Him. It’s not about God fixing this but about us fixing it. God works through us, each of us an individual. The woman who barricaded a room, God is with you! The man who stood in the way raising a gun taking a shot, God is with you. There are so many individual acts that saved more lives. God was there! I know that it truly hurts inside with the ones who lost their lives, but God is there also. He is there to greet them as they enter into a world beyond our simple understanding.
and come forth—those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation
This is not about gun control! Guns do not pull their own trigger. It’s not about making it hard for them to do the job, but about making it hard for them to get the job done. We need to have the wisdom and the respect to use a gun. We have the right to protect ourselves, loved ones, and those around us. Guns are not evil in themselves. It’s in the hands of an evil person that it becomes evil. But in the hands of someone good, it is good. The good overcomes. No matter how much gun control is enforced, evil people will always find a way to hurt and kill people.
Do not destroy the work of God for the sake of food. All things indeed are pure, but it is evil for the man who eats with offense. NKJV
To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled.
For things to be fixed we need action. Not speeches! Not words! Actions speak louder… We need to start by fixing ourselves, our families, counties, states, to our country. We need to heal our land from the inside out.
Galatians 5 (NKJV)
5 Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. 2 Indeed I, Paul, say to you that if you become circumcised, Christ will profit you nothing. 3 And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. 4 You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. 5 For we through the Spirit eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness by faith. 6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.
Love Fulfills the Law
7 You ran well. Who hindered you from obeying the truth? 8 This persuasion does not come from Him who calls you. 9 A little leaven leavens the whole lump. 10 I have confidence in you, in the Lord, that you will have no other mind; but he who troubles you shall bear his judgment, whoever he is.
11 And I, brethren, if I still preach circumcision, why do I still suffer persecution? Then the offense of the cross has ceased. 12 I could wish that those who trouble you would even cut themselves off!
13 For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another. 14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 15 But if you bite and devour one another, beware lest you be consumed by one another!
Walking in the Spirit
16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. 24 And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.
I believe this says it all…….
